    Were the sedan and coupe center grilles different on the 55s? [?]

        I think the centers are the same; it's the side grilles (turn signal housings) that are different.

                Boy, that's a nice grille piece for a '55. If I had one of those cars, I'd be bidding on it, and I usually don't bid on e-bay.

                    Probably 30-35 miles from my house.If someone from here was buying it I could pick it up and deliver it to South Bend at the May swap.May be slower delivery time but it would be handled more gently.

                            One should remember a few things regarding this grill:

                            A) NOS chrome can leave perfection to be desired. Sometimes it was never show quality when new and 50+ years of storage didn't help.

                            B) Even flawed chrome looks perfect in ditigal ebay pictures

                            If anyone needs a 55 grill I have a decent one, used but decent.
