    I guess everything is relative...
    If it had "normal" useage throughout its life, it would have 612,000 miles.

    It is a nice car. I often wonder how a family can sell a nice car that has been in the family since new (51 years).

    I have a problem with calling 90,745 miles "Low Miles". It is low compared to normal usage, but not low miles overall for a car.

    That Hawk has to be one of the most honest ORIGINAL cars we have ever linked to! []

    I do not believe any '59's had 289's, it COULD have been changed, but the relative selling it say's it's the original engine, so that seems most likely, making it a 259.
    To me, that is not even worth quibbling about, it does NOT matter, this car is Original AND nice. [^]

    Thats a really nice Hawk. I'm wondering how much of that collapsing hood insulation is inside of that orange (red?) air cleaner, though. [:0] The car is described as red, but appears to be on the tangerine side of that color on my monitor. The firewall looks like the car may have been White Sand originally. Should pull a good price...after Sal gets his hands on it. Maybe?

    Geez, what a nice car. When I was younger I never liked finned Hawks. I do now. They still look better than most anything else made in '59! Hope someone we know will snatch this one up.

    This 59 Silver Hawk is a solid survivor!

    Now THIS is the way to start a project![] Get the mechanicals right, buff and wax it, and enjoy for the summer. Over next winter, do the interior. Maybe winter after that, do the paint.

    Much better than a complete resto, for sure- and much easier to afford I bet it ends up about $7K:
