Ok, I know this is "out of the blue" but I've been talking to Jake who is from near Sacramento and loves to rebuild Studebaker engines. Turns out he has a 1-ton Champ Dually. I had always thought of building one, but I don't know how Jake's could be improved on. It's a real work of art.[)]

I was touring back roads out west of our place a couple of years ago. Did a double-take when I saw a Champ truck with a flatbed on it. But wait! Dual rear wheels??? Looked like (I never got closer than about a hundred feet) it might even have been on a E16 or bigger chassis![:0] It was lookin' like it hadn't moved in years - sitting out in a cow pasture.[V]

I sure hope that that is a posed picture and that he didn't drive the truck with eight, or more, on the flatbed.
