  • Where to look for used stude 6 cyl

    Hi all I am located in lower central michigan. Looking for a good core 6cyl 1938 or newer engine. Restoring a 37 coupe and would like to move up to the bigger engine. Any tips on where to look or where to post a want ad. Thanks form any help Steve

    I just pulled a rebuildable 170 flat head out of 1949 Stude. Located in Central California. See Mabel's Heart Transplant thread.

        Anne, he really needs a Big 6. It'll make his upgrade a bunch easier.

                    If you have joined the Studebaker Drivers Club, you can place a free want-ad in TURNING WHEELS, the monthly magazine that reaches 13,000 Studebaker families throughout the world, some of whom are no doubt very close to you.

                    Likewise, with a pre-war car, you can join The Antique Studebaker Club and also advertise for free in THE ANTIQUE STUDEBAKER REVIEW.

                    There's a "STICKY" at the top of the Forum page that will link to the SDC membership and the following link will take you to the Antique Studebaker Club.
