  • Key issue - Y133

Key-riminy! I'm having trouble finding a few Y133 National keys to make spares for my 63 Lark. Even the locksmith down the road, with 985 varieties hanging in his shop can't help me.

Any ideas? Maybe a substitute that works? Thanks!

How many DOZEN solid BRASS nickle plated Original type '63 Studebaker logo key blanks do you need Tom? [:0]

Key shops are the WRONG place to look for Studebaker keys, think: "Studebaker Parts!"

And if for some reason you don't want to talk to a Stude Vendor,[?] there is an eBay auction for key blanks ongoing virtually all of the time.

How come studebaker keys are $8.50 at this place and the same keys with Chrysler in the heading are $11.75??? Must have dealt with us cheap Studebaker folks already . Same blanks, same company both on active ebay auctions

Why not buy a set of Original Style of keys blanks for a 1963 from a Vendor. Why use that ugly Y133 blank when you can buy the original for $3.00 each?

Studerich probably has dozens in stock.

Studebaker International has them on page 175 of their catalog if you want to have a look what the original looks like.

True, I never thought of that! Of course, if you get the plain ones cheap that's good insurance against inept key cutters
