I think it would be cool to reproduce these and re-install on the fence posts.Have passed these quite a few times and could only imagine how it was,my parents told me they remember.Ed

I believe there have been reproductions made in the past.

Carrol Studebaker had a quantity reproduced in plaster of paris, years ago. Have one in my collection.

There sure have been more than a few of these crop up for sale now and then and we've had many topics about the differences among the reproductions and the real ones. This one is in great shape compared to other survivors and sure looks like the real thing. [^][8D]
One thing I wonder about: Studebaker Wheel, does someone like this need your permission to use your photograph to help legitimize and sell something?

The fence post globe is reminiscent of the gasoline pump light globe you so often see in antique stores. Several of these have been reproduced. I wouldn't mind finding a similar repro Studebaker light globe like this one on e-Bay. BUT NO WHERE EVEN CLOSE TO THAT PRICE, WOW !!!

I believe someone did repop them. Haven't seen one in a while though.
