This was done to a 57 wagon, so can it be done to a Champ truck?

You know in the cartoons where their eyeballs bulge way out of their heads?
AaaOooogah!
I think mine just did that when I saw that truck. The wagon is way cool and all, a man after my own heart. I just can't believe that someone really did it on a champ.

I think that looks great on the Champ! I had no idea it would fit. Does this mean that a front clip from a Hawk will also fit or will the front clip from a 2 door hardtop not fit? I think the tall grill of a Hawk would look amazing!

Brent, I'm pretty sure these conversions were done using sedan sheet metal. The C/K stuff would be too long to work with the wheel base, so the hood from a Hawk would be too long also. But with a little cutting, grinding and welding......

A 1956-1958 sedan front clip would look interesting on a Champ being that they look like a truck (very square, flat). I've got a Champ in need of a front clip, anybody got a 1956-58 sedan front for me to borrow? I'll bolt it up and see if it looks good. [8D]

That looks pretty darn good actually! Now it needs a step side bed or something, that bed doesn't work for it.
