Anybody know where I can buy a rebuild kit for a generator at on the cheap?

I've never seen it offered as a "kit" but several Stude vendors carry the nose bearing, brushes, and end-plate bushings... It just depends on what generator they are for...

SI offers "kits" for $80, but they don't say what's in them.

Local starter and alternator/generator shops generally carry these items as well. look in your Yellow Pages for someone close by.

NAPA will (should) have all the parts in 2 days or in stock. Maybe your local FLAPS.

Good deal, it must have not included the armature.

                    John Clary,

What a delightful story! I would be quite embarrassed to calculate the real cost of my ego over the last 60 years (and this includes my current coupe project!).

                    Regards,
