I have 2 3 speed trans. That came out of 47 and 49 Champions. and 1 out of a 56 259. They don't have O.D. Are they worth anything. If not They are going to the scrap yard. I have to clean that barn up. There is a back glass and a trunk lid for a 59 Lark out there also. If anybody is interested I'll bring them to South Bend in May.

Price is always driven by demand. Demand for anything six is still low. I mean who wants to daily drive a six in urban traffic? If I didn't live in a very very rural area I doubt if I'd entertain keeping a six cyl. Stude.

I don't know, Kent. I wish I had the little 6 auto Lark I had my hands on a few years back. That was a fun car.

As far as I'm concerned, the fewer cylinders under the hood for urban traffic the better. I used to tackle urban traffic with 2 cylinders and 30 horsepower. Yes, it was a car! On top of that, I got 45 mpg in heavy traffic!![^] Sixty at 60 mph.
