There is still a lot left here-- Generetor is dummy, no air cleaner, and you can see others. Accelerator linkage is not correct yet

I am just learning on the pictures, with the help of my Wife and Daughter-in-law. I will post more soon hopefully

What rear end are you running to get those wide wheels to fit?

If it wasn't for the last minute i'd never get anything done.

I like the garage paint, three tone. Looks simiular to what the factory would have looked like back in the day. Thats what I plan on doing to my garage![]

The rear end is S-10. The wheels are early Corvette 8". See my
technical article. I chose the paint scheme in the garage, because
of the early dealership garages. I am proud of what my wife and I
accomplished on the garage, on a caso budget.

            Nice car Tex,
Looks like your doing an awsome job.
I hope to have a 53 or 54 someday, but for now I have my work cut out for me on
my 52 2 door hard top.

            Keep up the good work!

            Dean.

Nice '53. [^] My uncle has the same Offy carb bonnet on his Studillac. (Came that way to us). There's just no room under the hood, and even the bonnet scrubs the hood. We're trying to figure out how to mount a breather to it with something that doesn't look as bad as dryer duct.

Matthew, this is the Offenhauser setup, I mentioned earlier
on the forum. This bonnet was designed especially for the
53 Studebaker. The Instructions say to use a oil bath air
cleaner. It has the clearance on my car. I have already dummied
it up and tried the hood with modeling clay and have 3/4".
The dry type a/cleaner won't clear. Of course my car has a Stude
                engine.

                  Matthew...
I can drop the carb some on a Stude intake to gain you some clearance.
Have done that for a few guys before.
