WOW! a 2DR HT, with the optional REAR DOORS! Now THAT'S a FIND!!![:0][:0][:0][:0]

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1963 Cruiser
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe
    1957 President two door

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

      Now that's FUNNY,
I didn't even notice until after reading your post and lookind a second time.
Could you imagine someone buying it sight unseen and finding two extra doors when it was delivered?

      Dean.

I have attended the Silver auction at Fort McDowell casino and it is better suited to the average guy as it is somewhat low brow compared to Barrett-Jackson's clientele. We may attend again this January. Some good values can be had at Silver. One of you guys can send me some money and I''ll go bid on that 55 for you

Does anybody know what the color is? The dark color is what I want to paint the wagon.

How wide are those white walls, maybe I should plan on those?

The upper looks like Windsor Blue, the lower looks like Alberta Blue. I could be wrong as that takes on more of a shade of green than blue .

It says 4dr. in the listing. Did they correct it?

Yes. A note was sent to them and they promptly corrected the error.
Then another note was sent explaining the sedan / hardtop diff.[|)]

They apparently "FIXED" it! Now it's a 4 Dr. Hardtop, Lol! [:0]

Silver is a great Auction, and I am sure this is a really fine automobile, but the nerd that does the website would not know convertible from a 4 dr. Station Wagon! He is also color blind![8D]

That is probably the most beautiful Dark Blue GREEN color that Studebaker EVER used! The giveaway if you can't see the predominantly Green in the dark green color, is the clearly Green light color! [:0]

I Love those colors, in fact 55 Presidents have several color combinations that look just awsome. Red/White, dark Blue/light Blue, Blue/White, Black/Red are some of my favorite.

If it wasn't for the last minute i'd never get anything done.

They were made aware of both errors...
I guess .500 is as good as it gets
