  • New addition to my Studebaker fleet!

Had to post some pictures from the recent addition to my Studebaker 'Family'. 1929 Dictator GE. Now I need to find a new home for my 1952 Champion!

Thats an impressive looking car Robert. To be seen driving in a car like that, one should really dress in period correct clothing to really make a statement. Someone getting out of a beautiful car like that wearing a T-shirt that says "This Buds for you" or "Jimmie Johnson is #1" just doesn't look right. [8D] A T-shirt with a tuxedo printed on it would look okay though.

And a fine addition it is.[]

Do you plan to drive it as it is or restore it?

In any case, Those era Studes have really nice body lines.

I'm looking at cleaning it up some, but don't have the time or money to really restore it at this point. It fired up after a little tinkering...and having sat for 8 years.

The guy I bought it from has two golden hawks in pieces (one is under the tarp to the right of the Dictator) that he plans on restoring in his retirement! Also had a 1920ish Dodge jalopy he has hot rodded, as well as a Model A in another barn. Just a thrill to walk through and look at them.

Definately driving cap and nice clothing for this one.[8D]

It doesn't look like it needs much restoring. I say clean do what it needs mechanically and enjoy.

                      Love the car,

If I had the room or won the lottery It would be a dream to test the skills and restore one. For now, I'd settle on going for a ride.

That's a very nice car with little or no work to get it running and be a nice conversation piece at a show or cruise night. Thanks for sharing it with us.
