That's a great example of a very nice 3 R-1 painted in Avanti Red. Thanks again for passing along this picture

Rich, I think it would be redundant for me to thank you every day, but I will occasionally reiterate that I do look forward to the eye candy posts, and again say THANKS!![^] When you run out of pictures (or photobucket space!) I hope somebody else will take the ball and run with it

What I like about the daily eye candy is that you post all different kinds of pictures. From rat rods to race cars, stock cars to customs. You even post a babydoll or two occasionally. You may not appreciate every car posted, but you're bound to get what you like often.

Great job. I even like it when others post their own versions of eye candy.

You should get an award...... Add me to the list of big time fans.

                  Thanks for posting!

For the longest time, I didn't like Avanti Red on Avantis. Thought it looked 'washed out'. But then I saw that it was similar to the Honduras Maroon on '62 Corvettes (my favorite year 'Vette), and also on '64 Cadillac Eldorados. All of a sudden, I didn't mind it anymore!
