In this video clip (Studebaker Today.1), Studebaker President Sherwood Egbert right near the end of this clip says that for 1964 and 65 two different new models were being designed with plans to build these cars in Switzerland.

What is he talking about? I don't ever remember hearing about this before.

Maybe he was refering to the protypes that are in the SNM. The 64 wagon, 65 sedan, and the 66 Sceptre. I thought that they were built in Italy though.

I don't ever recall hearing Egbert talking about building the cars in Switzerland. Kinda odd.
He was, however, a good man to have at the Studebaker helm. Too bad that his health took a downward spiral. Who knows what could have happened with Studebaker.

"My, such a beautiful car!" I love how the script is simple and the stiff looking participants say things no one really said. Gee, kind of like a lot of today's ads.
Too bad they didn't show more of the car they were trying to sell in that 63 Lark spot.
Thanks for posting the link, Dick! Fun to watch.
