I could be wrong, but aren't these offered in Turning Wheels nearly every month?

Yeah, but the ones in Turning Wheels are not "Certified by a Bonded Jewelry Expert!"

I do prefer the coarser weave on these belts than the modern smooth ones.
...but if I tried to accessorize an evening dress with them, my better half would wrap 'em around me and toss me off a bridge!

Then again, they are listed way less than I paid for my new set...

Truly incredible! That sure looks like rust on the buckle-to-belt tongue as well as the anchor piece. And that one alternate photo shows what you're likely getting if you buy these!

Are those possibly NOS ones? Or are they some higher quality repops?

That's rust, alright...all the way onto the belt. Yeah, gold plated stickers, maybe. What a character.

Those are probably NOS, Dylan. The gray, thick weave belt was what they all seemed to look like until the multiple colors came out. IIRC Studebaker used the gray belts almost exclusively in most of the earlier applications.

The last picture in the ad tells it all.

I wouldn't worry about that little bit of tarnish. Just have the servants see to it while they are polishing the sterling tea service.

Pat, I think thats what the buyer will feel like they got when the package is opened! Jewelry quality? I dont think so!! The belts advertised in Turning Wheels are much better- newer material, supports our vendors & NO RUST!

Draws attention from the rust and dry rotted belts. BTW, when did that style buckle surface? '61, '62, '63? I have a red NOS set just like those. No rust, but just as unsafe.
