Does anyone know the correct color for the inner front fenders on a 1948 Champion?

AFAIK all Studebakers had the inner fenders painted body color, although I'm willing to be corrected. The only time this is really a question is when a car has a two or three tone paint job; then I believe the inner fender color is the same color as the top of the fenders, but the firewall color depends on where the car was assembled.

On the postwar cars, the inner fender was body color (to an extent). What is confusing to some is that some cars received very little finish paint on the inner fenders and therefore look like gray primer and other cars received an almost exterior finish type of paint job on the inner fenders.

As Nate said, there are slight differences for two and three color cars and depending on which assembly plant the car was built at.
