  • 3 Trailer Queens in one day

The day started off at 8:00AM with the 64 super hawk on the trailer heading for Roseville near Sacramento for a car show later in the day, once in Roseville we unloaded Queen number one and Queen number 2 was loaded, as you can see number 2 is really a first class trailer queen in fact she is my granddaughter Chloe Peterson, she is only 8 but has already been to 3 national meets and thinks she might like to have an Avanti, after we unloaded her we drove about 35 miles to get trailer queen number 3, as you can see here, she is not a first class queen only a old beat up power hawk without an engine or trans also missing a lot more items, but still a very nice 56 parts car, super trunk and hood, 4 use able fenders , one nice steering system, windshield, and of course the frame should bring some bucks since I am all out of them, and with my trip in Oct. to Minnesota I can deliver it if needed. Any way back to the trailer queens loaded in less than an hour with 2 flat tires in front and none in back because the rear end was broken and could not put but one on so we lifted it in the middle and backed the trailer under then winched it on the trailer for the trip to Roseville in time for a nap and get ready for the car show, after the show it was back to put the 64 in my sons garage for a few days and into the truck for the 120 miles back to Castro Valley, got back about 12:30AM just in time to do this post a long day yes , worth it yes, do it again yes, and love them trailer queens every body need one or 2 or 3 . my helper is Patrick Mallim or better known on the forum Nibbs53

Nice work and trailering Bob. I wanted to join you in Roseville, but spent the evening bleeding brakes after a new powerbooster/master cylinder install. Looks like you had a great time.

Bob, I have a trailer that is similar in construction to yours. Mine has a low rail around it but the fenders look the same. I have used mine for hauling farm tractors and hay, etc. I have thought about hauling a car but it looks like the doors would hit the fenders when getting in and out of the car to load or unload. I think my truck door would have enough height to clear the fenders, but not the cars. Any tips beside just being careful and squeezing through the tight space?

John my trailer driver side fender fold down and the door of the car will then pass over the tire, works great best thing since sliced bread.

Easy, Clayton, she's probably a trailer princess in training at this point. Better protect her, you'll need her to stick up for you in the future. Behave with that Hawk.

As you can see every one can have an opinion, here we have grandpa's opinion of his granddaughter and her brothers opinion of her. to each his own , but Clayton really does like her, but was just a little mad she was on his trailer oh well life goes on.
