  • I Need a Dimension Measured

    Hi

The dimension I need measured would be on '62-'66 Y-body sedans.

First: place a straight edge on the rear door edge

Next: measure the cutout space to the corner of the bottom edge.

This is for a design project, thanks for your time and effort.

Maybe some others understand, but what exactly do you want? Distance, area, bottom corner of what - the door?

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1963 Cruiser
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe
    1957 President two door

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Are you talking about the dog leg in teh rear door opening to clear the wheel well?

        Hi

The dimension I need is the horizontal length removed from the door to accomodate the dogleg cutout.

The straight edge placed against the rear edge of the door will create a known point to measure to from the bottom edge corner of the door.

        Thanks!
        Steve
