Where are the weights at on a station wagon? I have one completely torn down and haven't found any.

Sure enough- but not together. The weight limit is still 70 lbs. per box (I believe).

I bought two sets off eBay this Spring, one 63 and one 64. The key was they were delivered to York, and I picked them up there. Can't get any cheaper than that- not even Flat Rate boxes

          Edited to add:
Just wondering- I know these two sets are different; but are convertible and wagon weights for the same year different?

On '63-'66 Wagonaires (the ones with sliding roofs) they were behind the front grille panel...

I'm better then 99% sure that other wagons did not have weights such as these installed.

You wouldn't by any chance have some weights for a 60 convertible, would you? Seems as the contour of the valance panel is different. My 60 was missing them when I got it & the ones from "the beast" dont fit. Your right, only sliding top Wagonaire's & convertibles had the weights. Solid top wagons didnt.

It's still hard for me to hear you're parting out our dear departed Wagonaire Warren~ but I know she's going to a good cause (or two, or four) so I'm okay with it.
Good thing, too- it seems that you own the car now!!! [:0]

I'm curious to I don't recall any weights of anykind in my R1 wagonaire with sliding roof. I took the radiator out and have been all around behind the grill and didn't notice thaem. Although I wasn't loking for them see-ins how I didn't know they existed.

Well John, you can't miss them if they are there. They bolt to the bottom edge of the inner fender skirt right below the h/lamp assemblies behind the nose panel and are about 8" long & 6" square. Brian.

The weights smooth out the torsional vibrations therefore eliminating a phenomenon called cowl shake on these models.
