  • Ebay Rant on Stude's (and others)

I hate it when the carpet, seat cover, and car cover people use a picture of the car as their lead in to the widget they are selling.

Scanning 2000+ ad's at 200 per page makes the lil' pic nice....
But I keep hanging up on nice car pic's that describe seat covers, etc..
I'd avoid buying from them just because of this 'tactic'
    (There... I feel better now)

If their product is good and our people can use them and be happy about it who cares, I just wish they didn't come in the average parts area along with some other things that you or I might be looking for we can go to their site if needed....Bob

I don't buy it. Mrs. Bell taught me apostrophes show possession back in third grade. Can't be any other use's[)]

This is hard, Bob, because you're a Bob and I'm a Bob. We should all be Bobs. Apostrophe before the s indicates contraction of letters or words, after the s indicates it is possessive.

Lots of Bobs. Bob'll, Bob will. Bobs' car. It's mine, leave it alone.

Apostrophes are almost always used for possessives EXCEPT in the
case of its (the most common error).
Dick, if you use those examples in something you send in to TW,
              the apostrophes will be removed.

Hey! I was in a rage.....
When you are in a rage, you don't stop to diagram a sentence[}][:0]
Next I suppose you'll hit me up with the proper placement of apostrophes in contractions, singular possessive and plural possessive[|)]...
                  Dang... Now I have a new rage, and it's only 4 o'clock.[]

It is Irish for son of clock. Notice I had no need of weeping dots in my post. I am now more scared than Jeff is.

We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.
