  • They FINALLY Meet-- Baby & Betsy

I FINALLY managed to catch Baby & Betsy meeting face to face~

Though they've been 'sharing' the same garage for the last eight months or more,
they have never actually met~ Dad's place is THAT BIG!!! [:0]
Since leaving South Bend about one month apart back in late Summer of 1956 they've been places. Both were California cars~ one from SoCal, the other from NorCal. Both cars have been back to SB at least once since they were built~ Betsy in the late '60s, Baby in 2002.

I'm trying to decide if they are plotting against Sweet Pea, or just catching up on current events. When Jewel (another CaliCar) drops in I'm sure it'll get REALLY interesting~
and that ought to be happening very, very soon...

That's quite an imagination you've got. Nice cars.

Dave, that Ferndale/Bellingham area is a real Mecca of Studebakerdom!
This September's Mini Meet should be jammed.

Doesn't she [?] That could be why she's been one of my favorites growing up in my StudeFamily. For as long as I can remember I've wanted her~ and back in 1992 Mom signed her over to me!!! [^] []

Most of what I wrote is actually true!!! These cars have personallity, and they act differently in the company of others... [}]
For example- while taking this picture- I had left Baby running. When I went to get the camera out of Sweet Pea, she STOPPED running!!! [:0]
