  • Smaller steering wheel?

Does any one know of a Studebaker steering wheel which is smaller than the standard 17 inch one for a hawk column?
Or a non Studebaker one that could be used on the same column.
    Thanks.

you can get a Grant wheel adapter for a 57-up Stude column, that opens up all sorts of possibilities. If you have a pre-57 car I'm not sure of any non-custom options. Or you could swap in a later column/box from same body style car (lark to sedan, or hawk to C-K)

Grant lists Hawk steering wheel installation kits on their website...part #4291. It's should be available through Summit Racing or Jegs or direct from Grant. Most of Grant's classic series steering wheels can be used with it or other brand steering wheels that use the Grant installation kits.

Would these Grant wheel kits mentioned above work for a 63 Avanti steering column?

I believe it would, I think they are all the same spline.

According to the Grant site Avanti's use a different application number. I have one on my Avanti so I know it's available. The Grant site does have an application guide on it.
