  • "Drive your Studebaker Day" decal

At the recent meet in Wenatchee I noticied someone had a "Drive your Studebaker Day" decal (magnetic I believe) on their Studebaker. I didn't get the chance to ask him about it. Does anyone know if these are for sale somewhere? I'm taking both the '48 and '52 in a parade here in Oregon and thought it would be a nice touch to highlight the event.

They are indeed available for sale. Whatcom County SDC has some being made as I type.
Our Chapter Pres has made me the point of contact for sales.

Ours will have our Club name (spelled correctly) on them, but due to this late date- a bulk order may not have that option. We're looking into this and when the cut-off date for orders will need to be. When I know the details on that- I'll post them here.

I do know that a set of two can be had for $30 plus shipping.
You can email your orders to me through the Forum please.

These Drive Your Stude. on the 4th. Signs are the Magnetic rubber like material that Refrigerator magnets are made out of, but thicker and hold good on '64 Daytonas' at 70 MPH per our high tech Interstate 5 wind tunnel testing! [^]

For some reason our tests on Avantis were a complete failure though! [:0]

Just be certain to put them on a dry surface. I lost one once on a Stude tour in the rain.

They are pretty cool and frankly, a lot nicer than my CASO idea of printing out the logo on a sheet of paper and taping it to the inside of the window.

I kinda hate to bring this up but be advised that the July 4th date is not a "forever" date. The date could be different in subsequent years as had been discussed in other forum posts, including this one:

what you may be able to di is have a die made without the date, and that can be inserted as each year's magnets are made.

Anyway, let'as know the cost etc. May be easier to have them generic (Studebaker Drivers Club).

What is the size of these magnetic signs? I did not see a mention of this in the earlier link, but of course I could have missed it somewhere.
