  • 62 Studebaker GT Hawk

This car was priced at $10,900 9 months ago, he will take $6000 right now. This kind of indicates the state of the economy. Notice the vents in the fenders have been covered.

Wish it was around the corner from me.
Unless the whole floor and boot (sorry trunk) is rusted out, here in Australia it would be worth every cent even though the vents have been welded over.

It's probably not the same car, but years ago I sold a 62 Hawk that I had bought in south Arkansas to a guy north of here. The car was originally white with a turquise interior, but he painted it silver and had the same kind of wheels the last time I saw it. This one caught my attention because of the likeness.

Perhaps it has fiberglass front fenders or fender. Some do not have the vent door openings and some (like the ones that I have used) do have the vent door openings.
The full dash and interior look good. If someone is looking for one, the price seems right.
I don't now what will happen to the Hawk if it doesn't sell this time with his statement to the effect of last time.
