Are we sure that isn't a '65? Check the taillights.

Sure enough, no slats for the Refreshaire ventilation system. But black rocker switches.Almost looks like a dash from a '66 Criuser...interesting.......[?]

If you read the questions and answers, he explains the grille and taillights. The serial number is C-532035. Starting serial numbers for 1966 V-8 models began at C-530001. It also has the lower body mouldings.

Also, the backup lamps & rear body panel trim are correct for a 66. If one were to replace the vinyl top the windshield & backglass need to come out & from my experience I would highly recommend painting the roof with Por-15 prior to installing a new vinyl top. I didnt when I did mine in 89 thinking painting the top with the exterior lacquer would be sufficient. It wasnt! What appeared to be just rust bubbles later on turned out to be much worse. When the top was removed I found huge holes in the metal itself, especially in the windshield header area. The bin could be fair & the 66 parts to put it back are still available & resonable but be prepared on the condition of the roof. Mine was ok when I did it in 89 & when I painted it then, had no rust, but boy it went south in 15 years.

I have the grill that came from that car. Bought it in Lancaster. Have advised the seller that it was available. I also have correct tail lights.
