Was this car or another Scotsman listed on eBay some months ago as a "Frontiersman?" I seem to recall we had this discussion before.

Frontiersman was a special AMC station wagon circa 1967...this was marketed in the Midwest. There was a Southwestern edition wagon the name of which I forget and a wagon I believe called the Mariner for the coastal areas.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

Didn't I read somewhere about a "Frontiersman" model being a trimmed-up model with special nameplates made by a dealer somewhere in the Midwest? Or was that one of the AMC special wagons they did in the late '60s? My mind is fuzzy [B)]

Regardless of his description, how many times has he listed this thing on eBay in the last year?

Oh, yeah, Leonard- I'm sure that's what he'll do... happened last week with a 61 Lark I was on...

Still, I'll be watching- and bidding at the end- just in case...

Watch him. I have seen people withdraw auctions early when they didn't think they were going to get what they wanted![xx(]

I e-mailed this guy and told him that since he didn't put a reserve he was legally bound to sell it at the end, regardless of what it draws; here's his reply:

    thanks for the info

So tell me; if I buy it for that cheap, any of you CA guys willing to get it and keep until I can arrange shipping? []
