  • Anybody want a 52 Champion?

I was out yesterday driving my 51 bullet nose and looking at 1940 F$#D to finish for a guy and his neighbor came over and introduced himself. Mike the doctor. He has a original 52 or 53 Champion Starlight he would like to sell. I think he said it has 36000 miles on the clock. This is a original un molested car. I didn't see it, but, if anyone here is interested I could do the leg work and get pictures. I asked what he would like to get for it and his answer was "I gave my cousin $3500.00 for it". So if anyone is interested, send me a message with your email and I will get the info.

Makes a lot of difference whether it is a 52 or 53. Both are neat cars, but offer different appeal.

It is a 52. I just looked up a 53. He said it was the same body style as mine with out a bullet nose.

Don, it would help considerably to have a pic or two...

According to your profile, you're in Dexter Michigan?

Does the car run, is the interior in decent shape, hows the paint? If the answers are; yes, yes, and good, then I'd say the price is in line. Otherwise, a '52 is going to be... difficult to move.

On this car the condition of the chrome is a big factor, too.
