      to increase my knowledge of these, how does the top retract? is it the large round clausine' on the back with a pop out handle? (mechanical or manualy unlatch and a good shove.)

      One of those things I have never asked, but wondered.

        Nope, that's for the tailgate window, there is a big knob in the headliner that's unlatches the roof, then it slides forward and back.
