      Hey Allan,
The three pictures of my Hawk are from after we had packed up the Concourse site?

Beats me Wayne, as you know I was unable to attend (sob sob).
I found this link on a casual search following Jeff's initial post.
Is that a fair representation of the cars there or just a few of them?

I am not completely certain of the exact number, but I believe that the total number of Studebaker's in attendance last Saturday was just under 130. This of course also included the Kapiris Brothers Racing Studebaker. It was a sight to behold.

          Wayne.

I know this is a long shot, but did any of you who attended the Ballarat meet happen to run across my son Alek? He'd have been the TALL American kid possibly wearing a University of Oklahoma tee shirt.

He was at the meet on Saturday, before leaving for Easter break in your Northeast. He's at Monash University in Melbourne this semseter and is really enjoying Australia and making the most of his time there!

              Hi Skyway
If Alek is at Monash Clayton campus ask him to find my son Jared Tyler at the SAE office.
He is involved in design/building of formula SAE race cars. he will be happy to show Alek around.

Hey Skyway, Yes I met Alek. He made contact via email and we invited him to our meet. He turned up on the day and I think that he had a good time. I only spoke to him for a short time because I was on the go all day. He seems a very nice young man. There were more cars than what is on that website. The photographer was late on concours day and there were only a few cars belonging to those of us who were packing up after the days events. Most of his photos were taken on Sundays observation run. Mick will post some photos here soon, and lots on www.studebakercarclub.net soon. It was a great event, and I look forward to the next meet in Fremantle 2011.
