        That tag looks too long and narrow for a U.S. Tag.
        If you open both rear doors, will it expose a casket? Could it be built for your "Last Ride?"

          Found that on the HAMB under the "any cool Studebakers" posting.That is an ambulance from Austrailia IIRC. You guys should investigate the HAMB.It is interesting.

                I'm not buying the ambulance claim. No emergency lights ... I think this thing is equipped for a slow reverent drive from the Chapel to the Cemetery. Who could ask for a better final ride?

                    Looks like it started life as a '64 Y body. The '63 tail lights were probably easier to adapt to the new bodywork than the originals were.

                      Jamie, it looks like it started out as a 64,65 and used 63 tail lenses so it would clear the rear door area and blend in easier.
