    Leonard,

Where did you find the 2003 date? I have an e-mail from you on December 21 of last year with a copy of the Jet Thrust News. It had to be fairly current as it mentions Asa Hall's red '64 Hawk (the one Chester bought) as having been auctioned in September 2005.

Perhaps JDP or someone else with a R powered car can help out.

      Jet Thrust Registry

I noticed in JDP's description of his R2 Hawk on eBay that there is a Jet Thrust Registry. I have put a Jet Thrust engine in my 52 Commander, but I don't know anything about the car it came out of. The seller just told me that it came out of a Hawk. I noticed that the last newsletter of the Jet Thrust Registry was in 2003. Is it still active?

You have a real odd ball there. I do not see you engine in the JT News owners roster. Maybe it is one that they do not know about. When I bought mine I contacted George Krem in Colorado and his knowledge and assistance was outstanding. I think he made a call to an individual in California (Mr. Eversley or something like that) as a double check. Possibly George would be a place to start. Wish I could of been of more assistance. Take care.

Here is the link I clicked on that was in JDP's R2 Hawk description:

I don't remember sending an email on the Jet Thrust Registry, but it is your short term memory that goes first

                Leonard,

Your e-mail mentions that it is issue number 24 and advises to contact Ron Ellerbe at ellerbe@pacbell.net for future copies.

It must have been something I passed on without it registering with my brain.[]

I will contact him. Thanks, Gary

Ron is still tracking the cars as far as I know, but he quit doing the news letters.
