Delayed Studebaker spring (pictures)

[Flashback]

Was talking to my friend Jim Allen in Spokane
Wa. yesterday, and I am not sure he believed
me, when I told him I had not had a chance to
get the Mallory set up, that I had purchased
from him up and running. Yesterday, five inches
of rain, and tornados in morning, sunshine and
seventy degrees in the afternoon. Today, two
inches of snow and a high of 39. I am in the
middle of ALABAMA!!!

I'm in the B-Ham area and have about 2" on the cars that are outdoors and it is still coming down. Nice part...will all be gone by Monday afternoon!

I remember a couple of years ago we had tornadoes and warnings all over the place right around Christmas, the next day there was ice on the roads! Go figure, only in AL!

Don't you just love this global warming thing! We've had something like and inch of much needed rain here in central NC and they are talking about snow tonight.

Rediculous, ain't it Tex?

After a BIG thunderstorm yesterday/last night, it "snowed" here all day for the most part, if you wanna call it that. More like slushy rain. My 259 still started and drove in it, whatever it is.

We had our Studebaker Meet today in Richmond, Virginia. Only one couple drove their Studebaker. It just started snowing when we finished the meet but it is now several inches.

Not only in Al.and Ga. guys .Here in northeast Ms.we had the same weather
severe thunderstorms tornado warnings 75 degrees thursday nite n friday 4.37 inches of rain.Saturday misting rain turning to sleet late n 4.75 inches of snow here Sunday morning.Sun came out about 9 an snow mostly gone by afternoon.

As I type this at 2:07 in the morning, it's 21 degrees here in Owensboro, KY. That's the bad news. The good news is that it's supposed to be well into the 60s and stay that way for several days by mid-week, with lows in the mid-40s.

Being just over three weeks removed from the worst ice storm in Kentucky history, MAYBE the city crews will finally have an excuse to START picking up the tree limbs that litter every street in town ...
