            Lookin' good!

I'm planning on driving my truck in our Christman Parade tomorrow night. (Saturday, Dec 9) I think my grandad may drive the Land Cruiser, now that I broke the clutch loose. [8D]

Last year we drove my Daytona. Halfway through the remnants of the exhaust system fell off. [:0] I still had the old dry rotted tires on it then.

The year before that we drove the '71 Eldorado ragtop. It got a little cold... [xx(]

                    Outstanding!
Congrats for getting your Stude out there!
It looks cute as a button!

I took my truck to the annual parade in Ocala, Florida a couple years ago. The only requirement was that it have some kind of ornaments on it. I took several sets of 'programmable' light strings and some garland ropes and taped them on with duct (duck) tape (yellow, of course!)... Ran the 110v lights with a little inverter plugged into the power outlet. Could switch the lights from random flash, to chasing, etc. Was cheesy, but neat....
(Pardon the poor quality of these pic's... They were snatched off the television coverage of the parade).
Of note was that I was 'invited' to participate at the last minute (the parade is an invitation only deal, because of the size), so the TV people never got the info card on the truck. During the broadcast the announcer babe goes "Ooohh, look at that!... I don't know what the heck it is, but it sure is cute!" Kind of made me groan and smile at the same time when I watched it a week or so later[].
