    Would it not be more likely someone needed a new door and swapped the whole door rather than took the time to ADD Transtar trim?

        Sure, that's possible, but they also swapped a wrong hood and a wrong grill.

            The gauges in that truck are from a later, 12v model (probably from the same Transtar that donated the hood). So, at least it has been converted to 12v, but how well? They may have kept the 6v overdrive solenoid, which could eventually burn out.
