1958 Studebaker Scotsman, the chassie and drive was train totally restored by Andrew J. Krizman, Krizman Inc., Automotive Chassis Parts, Mishawaka, Indiana. The 1958 Scotsman was Studebaker's answer to the frugal auto buyer, it had only a few options, no crome, cardboard interior, it was light weight and had excellent gas mileage. The body was restored by 2 high school boys before Andrew purchased the car. They won approximately 10 First Place Trophy's before the car was completely restored due to fact only a few exist. Bill Krizman won 1st Place with the completely restored 1958 Scotsman at The Studebaker International Show in South Bend, Indiana in 1987. We had our fun over the years finishing the restoration, caring for and showing the Scotsman. My father asked me if I wanted the car, I told him to donate the car to the Studebaker International Museum in South Bend, Indiana for everyone to enjoy. That is where it is today and I pray they never sell it.
