There has been discussion of Brooks Stevens grafting a Ford Thunderbird roof onto a 1961 Hawk when designing the 1962 GT Hawk.
Was the same process exercised when designing the 1952 Starliner, but using a roof from a 1949 Oldsmobile Holiday or 1950 Chevy Bel Air?

I believe that in all cases it was a matter of making a roof to fit the existing panels and windows of the convertible models.

The artist makes it appear the front seat can sit four across.

That guy could wear a top hat in there! My favorite part is the grill right next to the house's siding.

I had a next door neighbor that set the back of his house on fire by using a grille too close to the house.

Based on the size of a 52 Stude, the driver and passenger must be midgets, sorry, little people.
