What about our Pacific Northwest built '65 Wagonaire that Sold Today (Sat.) for $40K with Profits to a Charity!
A very well done Mild Custom, Commander Wagonaire with a LOT of Mods.

A Tech School Auto Shop Instructor and SDC Member friend from up here in the Northwest Re-Built this '65 Wagonaire from a really poorly modified mess to what you see at Mecum.

Of course the seller is Not the builder, He and his Wife who he built it for, sold it a few Years ago.

OPPS, Sorry this seems to be a Thursday Mecum String, maybe I should have started a Sat. String!
I don't make it a habit to Start many Strings though.

The vehicles that sell for charity usually do not have a price related to the vehicle. The price has to do with what charity and who wants the tax write-off. Sometimes, the vehicles are donated back or listed for resale.
