    It looks like a pretty nicely done car. Corvette suspension, and LS engine. You have to register to see the sold price. I'm guessing somewhere around $30,000.

      That car surfaces for sale every so often. To each their own, but I just don't feel as though those cars come out well as customs. Maybe if it had a different color. Does look well done though.

          I'm not familiar with all the wagon varietals, but does this one have '56J fiberglas tail fins added or were those original?

              Jack, those fins are original to the '56 wagons. A good friend has a Pinehurst (more upscale model) with the same fins.

                      Snowcap White was the correct name for the 1956 white, but I believe what they identify as "Sherbert" was actually Tangerine in 1956 Studebaker parlance. Of course, it might be a custom color, too. BP

                        Think it would look much nicer if they had shortened the rear axle and tubbed it instead of flaring the rear wheel opening for the wider tires but all in all still a nice car
