    I need help finding a source for this decal. It's for a '63 Avanti.

      Good point. Post war Studebaker used different VIN set ups and changes between cars and trucks.

      Not listed in our vendor issue but I have gotten decals from Stuart Tritt in Kimball, Nebraska as well as VIN Plates, just be sure to mention the "1" is supposed to be an "I"I copied this from a google inquiry Stuart Tritt Studebaker.

        Thanks for the info....I'm working a '63 Avanti. Didn't add any pictures, all I've got is the aluminum plate attached to the frame.

          Ok an Avanti; that would be 1963 or 1964, they are the same.
          The Serial Number Plate is Stainless Steel if Original, and the Car Build Sequence Number should be Stamped into it.

                Stuart has them and makes a perfect vin tag in stainless or aluminum.
