I had a 1962 Daytona that had a shimmy at 60+mph. I did everything trying to stop it-new king pins, balancing the front wheels on the car (raised off the ground). Later, I found out it was the center pivot bearing where the tie rods meet in the cross member.
did you change tie rod ends and reach rod? kingpins would be my last thing on the list, you did it first?
they call it bell crank, and you call it center pivot bearing?

Several post back you mentioned tire cupping. When that happens on a large truck [semi], it usually means that the rear axel is out of alignment. That pushes the truck one direction and steering the truck strait causes the out side edge of the steer tire to try to roll under then pop back causing the cupping. By your last post it appears that you got it figured out.
