    I know nothing about this particular Weasel; nor anything about M29s. But, the ad states it is a Studebaker.

    That is actually an M 29C which originally was designed to float(extra floatation tanks front & rear). Someone has cut the side open probably to ease entry/exit. I have a regular M29 and they are definitely cool toys. They are powered by the venerable 170 CID flathead 6, plus two speed Clarke rear axle, (six (6) forward , two reverse gears) go anywhere in our snowy north country.

      The biggest headache would be the tracks if they need rebuilt. From the close-up, looks like one of the bogies may be sticking and sliding as it appears flat spotted.
