  • Long Day At The Office

This young lady must have spent a long day posing for pictures with the new line of Studebakers. The picture with the GT is photoshopped, the original picture did not have her reflection in the hood.

Photoshop job not very well done either. Notice how the reflection of her right hand does not follow the curve of the fender. The photo editor might have better spent time dealing with the distracting reflections on the side of the car near the rear. Still, nice general product shots.

The actual factory photo of the car was the lighter Horizon Green.

She is actually a life-size Barbie doll, manufactured by Mattel. Not being human, there is no work-breaks or lunch-breaks needed and no overtime, health insurance or other benefits to be paid.

A long day for sure...first photo is in the late fall and the second is in the spring. What happened to winter?

I wish winter would actually go that quickly.

Perhaps the advertising agency spent winter making sure the Studebaker Corporate check would clear the bank before doing the spring photo shoot...and to get her one suit of clothes back from the laundry.
