It is with great disappointment that the Kinzua Region Chapter has to announce the cancelation of the 2020 Studebakers at Dunkirk Swap Meet. We've been doing everything we can to keep it going for this year but it has now become clear that we have to surrender to the forces that have put a hold on most everything we all take part in during a normal year.
Here's what finally made the decision for us:
    * The fairgrounds are not available to use because they are county-owned.
    * We found other space to use but New York state has current regulations requiring visitors from 35 different states (many of which our vendors were coming from) to quarantine for 14 days, and that just won't work.
    * Several of our regular vendors weren't going to attend due to the pandemic.
    * The Canadian border remains closed and we get a large portion of visitors from there.
    * We looked into moving the meet into Pennsylvania but they have regulations not allowing gatherings of more than 25 people, including staff.
    * All this combined makes it not feasible to continue this year, we don't want to put on a show that will disappoint visitors and vendors.
    We'll be back in 2021!
Stay safe, and thank you all for the support you've shown us

Well, that’s a shame but it sounds like you made the right decision.
For next year, is it possible to move the date to a week before or the week after the Pure Stock Drags in Michigan? That would certainly get rid of a conflict for some of us.

Nels, I have not heard anything on the up coming PSMCR has it been cancelled? I have a 53 to deliver to Mich. and the races would be a good time to do it. races or no race I still need to deliver the car.

Fortunately for the PSMCDR they don't have to deal with New York.
The dates have been set for Studebakers at Dunkirk 2021!
September 24-25, so we pushed it back a week so it does not interfere with people who want to attend the PSMCDR
