  • 1958 silver hawk build.

    Hello.
I am new to the forum and have a few questions I'm hoping someone has the answers for.
I have just recently got a 1958 srudebaker silver hawk.
It was my father's and before he died he had the car all apart for a new front suspension and I'm missing some measurements.
I know the wheelbase is 120.5 inches and the trackwidth is fairly narrow.
Would anyone have the dementions between the inner lips on the front fenders?

Welcome to the SDC and to the SDC Forum Brian!

Are you planning some Super WIDE Wheels with Fat Tires to fit on it, or WHAT?

I only ask because, after reading Thousands of Posts here and responding 29,000 times, no one has EVER asked that one.
if you are looking for space to store it and do not have it yet, I can say they are about 6 1/2 Ft. wide.

Good luck with that, you will be treading on Untouched ground on that one.

I think Chev S10's and Ford Rangers have worked. My guess would be a Granada or Merc. Monarch, late 1970's or same Body Lincolns are closer to the correct Width.
