  • Former Harry Israel Studebaker dealership building

Harry Israel Studebaker was a dealer in downtown Waukesha, WI. A car guy bought the building a number of years ago and built an upstairs loft living quarters. He has decided to move and the place is on the block. Scroll through the pictures. It is a neat place. https://www.flexmls.com/link.html?1iv8x5af65xz,19,1

Wow a $1000.00 Taxes per year, for about every Hundred Thousand Value! I guess that's what you get for being on Main St.

The Drawing of the "1955 Conestoga" looks more like a '54 Ford Ranch Wagon, wrong rear fender design.

I remember it well, my dad did business with them on occasion. I remember when the Milwaukee Journal/ Sentinel ran an article on the guy that owns it now. Had several pic's of the renovated building. Bill

I am not on Main Street and I wish that my taxes were that low.

EDIT: When I tried to look at the listing, I got; "link no longer available".

I spent a LOT of time in downtown Waukesha as a kid (early-mid 80's) so I was interested in the link, but it doesn't work for me, either... I don't remember a Stude dealership, but I'm sure it was long gone by the time I was there...

I'd need a lot of drapes to cover the lower floor shop windows if it was my place.

Are you SERIOUS? You think $8,000.00 a year is cheap? Ouch!
