  • Studebaker National Drags in Bean Blossom Indiana postponed until July 4th

I need to make certain that everyone knows that the Studebaker Drags are NOT going to be this weekend. Because of the corona virus restrictions, the drags are being rescheduled for July 4th, with Friday night dinner on the 3rd. Please pass the word to anyone that may be interested. We don't want people to show up this weekend and be disappointed that the event date has been changed. We hope to see everyone in July, and are looking forward to a great weekend for all the Studebaker enthusiasts. Call or email me with questions.

Our Governor has a press conference tomorrow about the status of Indiana. Hopefully this won't affect this weekend. Hot and dry is the forecast.

I did not take any pictures. There are plenty of pictures on FB Studebaker Addicts. Good turnout, very hot and muggy. Some great Stude gassers, Stude Tomato, supercharged Avanti, some Larks , coupes, GT Hawks, and an incredible 1957 Golden Hawk 400 (a must see in person)! The Possum Smasher did not run ( 3spd/od tranny needs syncro help). A few orphan makes were there. A very nice Hudson made a few passes. Several out of state friends were in attendance. Great time!

I got a few pictures, but somehow no good shots of the Possum smasher. I should have gotten one with you in it.
