I came across this hood ornament the other day. It was bolted to an early 50s chevy truck, but fairly certain it was added by somebody. It is likely just an aftermarket piece, sold for generic use, but the shape of it looks a lot like the Hawk emblems used by Studebaker. The condition is poor, with corrosion in the pot metal. Has any of you seen anything like this before?

This one for sale on eBay claims it is a Chrysler ornament, but, unless I misread the ad, it does not give the year.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it is an early 50s Chrysler. The cost of restoration would far exceed its value, but it might find a home on a rat rod.Tom Senecal Not enough money or years to build all of the Studebakers that I think I can.
