  • 1966 Commander Production #'s?

Can anyone tell me how many 1966 6 cylinder 2 door Commanders were made? How about with a 3 speed manual?

    Thanks
    Todd

Only 1 shot so far. I haven't seen the car in person..
Owner sounds older (woman) and all I can get out of her is that the car is "sweet" and has a "3 on the tree clutch"

Asking $1000. Has NOS fenders on the front so someone there must know a little about these cars..

One question: I thought all the steering wheels on the 66's were white. From what I can tell in this pic it looks blue.

Todd , i think those white steering wheels were only on the '64 cars.

You beat me to the punch, Champ Trucking.I have that very issue of Turning Wheels (October '86) sitting on my desk as we speak. In loving memory of my '66 Commander 4-door, 283 with an automatic. It was a radio delete model (OMG[:0]), I mean it didn't have a radio.BTW the steering wheel was black. That 2 door looks pretty nice!!
