  • Whatever happened to the Grand National powered '61 Hawk

A number of years ago the president of a company specializing in titanium aftermarket auto performance components converted a I believe a '59 or '61 Hawk with a Buick Grand National turbo V6 drive train. Does anyone know what happened to that Hawk? It was a pretty slick conversion.

I think this is the Hawk you are referring to. I took these photos in Colorado, 2008. Local SDC had their cars on display inside a Mall.

I do remember it. It's a very beautiful car. Though, I would prefer it. If it sat just a little lower, over the front wheels?
