  • Halibrand wheels--Possible source

The eBay item number: 264427936575 is for a set of Halibrand wheels that look similar (but not identical) to the Halibrand wheels that were a dealer option for Studebakers in 1963-4. Note that the wheels advertised are 14" and drilled for a Chevy bolt pattern, so they are of no use to most of us. But read the seller's statement: "These wheels are in the best original condition of any set of these that I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot as we make them." That "...as we make them..." statement might be worth checking out.

Yes Real Rodders Wheels WAS the Mfg./Seller of the reproduction Aluminum Stude. Wheels, but these are real Mag. these could be one of their "Sample" Sets for making the Molds, now that they are done, there would be no need.

Sorry about the TOO Large SDC Symbol, it came from the Old Forum and I found no way to shrink it!

If you all want 14" Halibrands, then call Craig Connely @ Paradise Wheels. He told me a few years ago he had the Stude style in 14".
